Lunch and Learn: Waste Free 101 Holiday Cheer
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Come learn the basic principles of living zero waste and how to prepare for a zero waste holiday with Marina McCoy & Alexandra Thompson from Waste Free Earth.
The average American produces 4.5 pounds of waste per day. With increasing greenhouse gas emissions and overflowing landfills, it’s apparent individuals need to take a stance and push for change. Leave this workshop knowing how you can start reducing your impact by adopting zero waste principles in your daily life. In this workshop, Marina McCoy and Alexandra Thompson from Waste Free Earth will empower attendees to reinvent how they produce and consume waste. Together, they have over 14 years of experience within the sustainability industry.
Workshop Flow: Our workshops are one hour long. They include polling questions and breakout sessions to keep engagement high for attendees throughout the workshop. We end each workshop with a Q&A to discuss how you can apply what you have learned moving forward.
WHEN: December 9th, 12PM -1PM
WHERE: RSVP on the Vermont Startup Collective (you need to be a member – it’s free!)
