VCET membership is more than flexible coworking. It allows you to scale your business and grow your team with the tools you need and the support of an empathetic community.
We chose to open our doors not just to startups, but to Vermont’s freelancers and remote tech workers, too. Our “talent cloud” surrounds our entrepreneurs and startups with everything they need to succeed. From investors and accountants to graphic designers and social media experts, you can find everyone you need to start, scale and, connect here.
Downtown Burlington, VT
Our coworking space is located within the Consolidated Communications Technology Hub in downtown Burlington, VT. This 11,000 sq. ft coworking and startup accelerator space is open 24/7, and is equipped with 6 conference rooms, 7 phone booths, 2 ping pong tables, a secure locker room with bike racks, a Multimedia Lab, and a Lactation Room. The @BTV crew thrives on in-house community events, Lunch and Learns, tech Meetup groups, and a seriously smart and vibrant Slack channel. This open-concept shared space, supported by Consolidated Communications, is smack dab in downtown Burlington…complete with sweeping lake views and infinite chess matches.
Our community welcome all. This is an environment where all can feel safe, respected, and valued. We cherish and celebrate the diversity of humanity, which includes differences in sex, race, ethnicity, age, national origin, sexual orientation, range of abilities, gender identity, financial means, education, and perspective. We pledge to do all we can to replace the traditional barriers of power, privilege, exclusion, and oppression with ever-widening circles of solidarity, respect, access, and inclusion.
This is the most popular, flexible option for membership. Choose any open seat in our @BTV location.
Shared Fixed Desk: $200/month
The Fixed membership allows you to create a home for your business and have a reserved, permanent space where you can keep your belongings and return to every day.
Solo Fixed Desk: $250/month
The Solo Fixed membership is the same as above, but with your own, freestanding desk. Like a private island…but it’s a desk.
Student Entrepreneurs: Free
VCET works closely with at least 10 Vermont colleges and universities, and believes student entrepreneurs are the future. So as always, student entrepreneurs and interns are FREE thanks to the Vermont Technology Council. Due to space constraints, Free Student Memberships are limited and not guaranteed. Student founders will be prioritized.
Remote Team Members and Interns: Free
Startup teams can now offer free memberships to their remote team members (who infrequently visit the office). This applies to startup teams of 2+ paying members with fixed desks. Members have open access to all programs, events, Slack, networking, and partner spaces around the country.
Vermont Startup Collective: Free
A free to join, virtual platform that surrounds 600+ active and aspiring doers, creators, and innovators with constructive guidance from advisors and mentors, thought-provoking conversations with peers, and critical tools and resources to start and scale their companies in Vermont.
- We do not offer day passes, “drop-in” rates, or any short term memberships.
