A Decade of Her: Female Founders Speakers Series
To mark a milestone decade of empowering women entrepreneurs, the Vermont Center for Emerging Technologies (VCET) hosted a memorable celebration on September 29th, 2025 for its Female Founders Speakers Series (FFSS). Since launching in 2016, this series has featured 87 speakers across 32 events, inspiring countless business owners through storytelling and shared experiences.
The event was designed to spotlight the contributions of past panelists in every detail. The bar showcased drinks crafted exclusively with products from FFSS businesses, flowers were sourced from June Farm (who was a past speaker), and raffle baskets overflowed with goodies from FFSS panelists’ products.
Past speakers reconnected, new connections formed, and the room was filled with hugs, laughs, and toasts. While the gathering honored the Speakers Series, it ultimately celebrated every female founder in the community. From CPG creators and jewelers, to retail owners and tech founders, they are all boldly building their ventures together.
