WHO? Eric Olsen!
ROLE: Eric is the founder & chief developer of Perfect Day Media. He enjoys the freedom of no employees and finds “enjoyable work through the talented people in all of the disparate fields of his projects”. Eric also has experience in visual design!
Perfect Day Media: A web development company that designs websites for clients all over the state. We asked how long Perfect Day Media have been around for and Eric had to think for a moment. He contemplated and blew casual raspberries. “I’ve been doing this independently for 15 years now” – impressive given that the internet is a such a new feat, relatively speaking.
BIGGEST WIN IN THE PAST YEAR: Eric’s biggest accomplishment this year is, unfortunately, something that he cannot talk about… yet 😎
HOW? Eric cites that the VCET environment has helped him sustain and enjoy his work over the last couple years. He also believes that while every project is exciting, there are some that have been especially enticing because of the client’s mission or some new technology PDM has been able to implement. These special projects offer “a little extra juice to get through the less exciting projects”.
CAN’T SEE FUTURE… “For better or for worse, I rarely think about the future” he says. Don’t worry Eric – there’s nothing wrong with living in the present!

FUN: Eric plays music and makes art. He has two kids and hangs out with them a lot as well. Eric is the guitarist for Swale, a Burlington based rock band that’s easy on the ears but unafraid of experimentation.
